Evidence for the presence of water in the Moon was found in October 2009 by NASA‘s successful Lunar CRater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) mission in the Cabeus crater – a permanently shadowed region of the Moon. We are investigating the various new materials and technologies available to us following the Aqualunar Challenge announcement by the Canadian Space Agency (see Events,  7 March & 15 February 2024) calling for innovations that will allow for the use of lunar water – for human consumption while on lunar mission, as well as for fuel (hydrogen).  The various innovations will be featured in our SusTAIN Centre™ in Vancouver, BC.
