But such terms can become so generic that they lead to greenwashing, and soon fall out of favor with both conservationists and wider society.
    Takeaways:
    – ‘Nature positive’ is a widely used term, but poorly defined, often with little real-world impact;
    – Setting SMART outcome targets, quantitative baselines, and robust monitoring of progress can help organizations and governments to work towards genuine ‘nature positivity.’

v.MFW 2025: Menswear Exhibit

Canadian menswear doesn’t stop, nor do we. In 2025, we’re planning to hold a Menswear Exhibit to showcase the latest designs and innovations in menswear. Designers’ pieces will be featured on body forms (mannequins) within a vignette conceptualized by the designers themselves.

This move is in observance of the ongoing “tripledemic” caused by SARS-CoV-2, Influenza, and RSV viruses to ensure that our guests, members of the public, designers, and our team members are able to participate safely and in accordance with the provincial health officer’s (PHO) guidelines. Entry to the event will be limited as per updated PHO order at the time of the event.

Date: TBA
Who: Buyers, industry insiders, accredited members of the media, design-, textile-, and material science-related school faculty members and students. Limited tickets to members of the public.
Partners: We welcome corporate partners in the forefront of innovation and committed to sustainability.
Application: Established and emerging menswear designers (local and international) can apply. Please contact our team for more information.
